Fleets should include diesel in mobility mix

The latest Euro 6d-Temp approved diesels can play their part in the modern fleet, according to Alphabet.

Recent analysis by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) found that modern diesels emit significantly less harmful emissions than their predecessors.

A separate study by ADAC found that Euro 6d-Temp vehicles emitted 76% less NOx than Euro 6b models.

More than 270 diesel cars have passed or exceeded the WLTP standard, but also the RDE test (Real Driving Emissions Test), which will be compulsory for all new registrations as of September 1, 2019.

According to alphabet, modern diesel vehicles are therefore relevant to the mobility mix of the future. For companies in particular, they continue to play an important role in the selection of several drive and mobility alternatives.
