Cummins Inc. said its Charleston Turbo Plant in South Carolina has produced its 5 millionth turbocharger and added that the plant is on track for a record year of production.
“This plant doesn’t just make turbochargers,” said Shon Wright, general manager of Cummins Turbo Technologies. “We manufacture reliability, assurance, dependability and trust for our customers.”
Cummins manufactures medium- to heavy-duty diesel engine turbo technologies and its customers over the last 60 years have included Hyundai, Mack, DAF, the Cummins Engine company, Komatsu, Daimler, Volvo and Detroit Diesel.
