On June 26, 2007 the Diesel Technology forum hosted a retrofit technology demonstration at the National Association of Regional Councils Annual Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, FL. Transportation planners attending the meeting were able to see a retrofitted school bus and transit bus in addition to cutaways of various retrofit equipments. Donaldson and International Truck & Engine Corp. representatives were present to answer questions about their technology and its applications.

During the conference, the Diesel Technology Forum released its funding guide, CMAQ Funded Diesel Retrofit Projects – A Guide to Understand and Accessing the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program, and coordinated a series of sessions on Integrating Air Quality and Transportation Planning:  Technology Options and Emission Reductions.
