Diesel Making It’s Way From the School Bus to the Family Wagoneer

A recent survey of 500 California voters found 79 percent were “very concerned” or “somewhat concerned” about climate change. Still, only 29 percent saw clean diesel vehicles as a way to show their concern for the environment, even though diesel vehicles can be as efficient and less expensive than their gasoline-electic hybrid equivalents.
The Diesel Technology Forum, an organization of diesel industry professionals, used the tour as an opportunity to shift the image of diesel from the fuel that powers heavy-duty work trucks to a light-duty fuel for daily commuters. Read the full article.
