- Clean diesel technology helps city and county officials across the country provide reliable, clean transportation for their citizens. Today Washington and Athens-Clarke counties (Georgia) are celebrating this fact as they reap the economic and environmental benefits of $1.7 million provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to retrofit local diesel transit buses and municipal vehicles.
