The beauty of diesel may pass by some, But I surely will not be one. For somehow diesel has captured my heart, And quite honestly where do I start?
Could it be that dependability’s tops? Or the cackling purr that never stops? And although it may not be first off the line, When gas engines are dead, My diesel’s still fine!
Some say they don’t like them, But they’re stuck in the past. Clean diesels are here, And they’re built to last. I’ve had them all, From primitive to refined, And though I’ve loved them all, I’ve come to find, That although clean and smooth Are the modern day picks, An old diesel gives tailgaters, A pretty quick fix.
My friends say, Buy a sports car, Why don’t you have some fun?? I tell them When it comes in diesel, I’ll be sure to have me one.
This girl’s a fan of diesel, That’s rather clear to see, Mr. Rudolph Diesel, You’ve got a friend in me!
